Celui d\u2019un m\u00e9gaprojet longtemps retard\u00e9, dont la mont\u00e9e en puissance pourrait bouleverser le march\u00e9 mondial du minerai de fer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entre 2026 et 2030, la production mondiale de minerai de fer devrait progresser \u00e0 un rythme annuel moyen de 2,2&nbsp;% pour atteindre 3,04 milliards de tonnes. Ces perspectives, attribu\u00e9es lundi 31 ao\u00fbt par&nbsp;<em>Mining Weekly<\/em>&nbsp;\u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de recherche et d\u2019analyse BMI, traduisent une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration par rapport au rythme de 1,2&nbsp;% enregistr\u00e9 au cours des cinq derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Tir\u00e9e par les producteurs d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9tablis, cette croissance devrait \u00e9galement \u00eatre soutenue par la mont\u00e9e en puissance du m\u00e9gaprojet Simandou en Guin\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Les g\u00e9ants du minerai de fer gardent leur avance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D\u2019apr\u00e8s les informations, l\u2019analyse de BMI met globalement en avant la croissance attendue de la production en Australie, au Br\u00e9sil, en Inde et en Chine. (Agence Ecofin) &#8211; Une dynamique loin d\u2019\u00eatre anodine au regard du poids de ces quatre pays sur le march\u00e9 du minerai de fer. Les donn\u00e9es de l\u2019US Geological Survey (USGS) estiment d\u00e9j\u00e0 la production mondiale \u00e0 2,6 milliards de tonnes en 2025, dont 2 milliards issus de ce seul quatuor. L\u2019Australie domine le classement avec 980 millions de tonnes, devant le Br\u00e9sil avec 420 millions de tonnes, l\u2019Inde avec 310 millions de tonnes et la Chine avec 290 millions de tonnes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le classement comprend \u00e9galement d\u2019autres producteurs moins importants, parmi lesquels l\u2019Iran, la Russie, le Canada ou encore l\u2019Afrique du Sud. Mais aucune mention n\u2019est faite de la Guin\u00e9e qui pourrait toutefois progressivement faire son entr\u00e9e dans ce cercle avec Simandou. R\u00e9parti sur quatre blocs de gisements, le complexe minier a exp\u00e9di\u00e9 ses premi\u00e8res cargaisons fin 2025 et doit progressivement monter en puissance pour atteindre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 120 millions de tonnes de capacit\u00e9 annuelle \u00e0 terme.
